Kennesaw is the BEST company I have ever worked for. They know me and my wife (who doesn't even drive). They care about their drivers. You can feel it when you walk in orientation and it follows you every where you go. They CARE about ALL employees and it shows. It's refreshing to see that humble loyal caring people still exists...........
I've been behind the tractor trailer from Kennesaw transportation for a few minutes. The driver was being very observant of a speed limit and change lanes carefully with his blinker. God bless truckers!
Christian company Wow.They don't believe that them selfs crooked please don't leave your job for these guys..50 per mile but so disrespectful.Super super bias company.I cut all ties they gave my urine test to someone else and was playing me to next orientation to give urine again. I never fail a urine test in my life 7 days still waiting on my test only to know my test was applied to someone else.Where my test becareful ? Anytime they say the Lord these day?Run u thank me later
Got nothing bad to say about this company. Absolutely love working here. Everything from the recruiting process to getting me in a truck has been nothing but a great experience. My recruiter hope was absolutely phenomenal and didn’t cut any corners on telling me how things run at the company. The bonuses they have are like nothing I have ever seen before. The dispatchers/fleet managers are some of the most kind and caring people you will ever meet. My dispatcher Tony is an absolute boss when it comes to keeping me and my co driver running. Same can be said for all the dispatchers. And I can’t leave Kelly Patrick out of the picture, she is absolutely a wonderful person who shows endless amounts of care for her employees. I can go on and on about this company of how great it is, there is so much more good things to say about that I don’t know if I’d have enough room to fit in here. The only thing is, just be ready to run because they will keep you busy, and I absolutely love that.
I don’t see why some people rated this company low. I’ve been here going on 3 years. Don’t believe the negativity people are putting on this company. I’ve run solo and now running teams. Overall great company to work for.
Great conversation with recruiter just to be turned down by safety department with a clean mvr well forget me reapplying oh cuz we would like a better candidate to apply GOOD LUCK OH BUT THERES SUCH A DRIVER SHORTAGE!!????????????????????????BLAAAH …
When they say Smaller companies are better IT'S TRUE! I've been working here for 3 weeks and honestly I'm retiring here lol seriously! I'm a person and not a number and I love it. I would recommend anybody to come to Kennesaw I PROMISE YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
Best company I've worked for in 17 years of driving!
The big problem is that they say mostly drop and hook but in reality it’s almost never drop and hook unless you’re team driving them it’s gonna be a lot more money too , you might go an entire weekend waiting for a load being solo
New to company hoping for a long term stay with them. I will be a solo driver . Wanting to receive a lot of miles and minimal home time. Just want to earn great pay
What is the best part of working at the company? Being able to go home without any issues. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not having enough loads to run What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Family oriented friendly atmosphere What is a typical day like for you at the company? I'm always moving. As soon as I get half way to the delivery I'm already receiving my next load.
Pay attention in orientation. They will bait and switch if not careful team drivers are the main focus paying .70 cents split per driver (.35 cents) not to much focused on solo drivers. Better company for older crowd. If you have young children you will miss out on a lot of time with them as home time isn’t easy to come by.
I was forced to leave this company due to the fact that they hire Atlanta area drivers to do the solo driver side of the company. They wouldn't guarantee that I would get hometime in the area I live, Dallas. Make sure that you really like the co-driver you team with. This company will get you the miles when teaming.
What is the best part of working at the company? Keep moving as long as you don't go home. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Couldn't get over 4000 miles as a team. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Teamed with ex who couldn't get along with the steering wheel. Got rid of her too. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Drive, sit and wait for next dispatch.
Very nice people with exceptional equipment. Very supportive of their employees with programs available for various issues. Lots of support for the many needs of their employees.
Like most trucking companies the recruiter will mislead you. They say mostly drop and hook that is 100% Not true! Lots of live load and live unloading. Hours and hours in your truck sitting making no $. They hang a carrot of .58 per mile in front of you which can't be done when you are sitting and 3000 miles is totally impossible. Last week out I drove 1900 miles and was out for 7 days, sitting at shipper's and parked at truck stops. My advice is avoid this company. They Get you in the door and change the rules and say well things change and that's the way it is. Terrible experience for me! I just don't like being mislead and Lied too, maybe it's just me🤔!
Work hard and long hours and weeks without a day off and if asked for a day off they get an attitude with you. They always have orientation every week because of the driver quitting
This is a great teaming company with awesome driving lanes for team drivers. Solo drivers not so much. They really treat you like family. Only negative I had is the trls. Lot of drop and hook which a lot of the times had to fix chutes cause hauling carpet to California they’d rip the chute. Haul produce back. Great tractors and when I left they were getting new trailers. I’d definitely work with them again if I had a co driver.
I just left them office people treat drivers bad they bribe people in with new bonuses but don't deliver them to u when it's time throw you under the bus advice look somewhere else better opportunities everywhere
